In 2002 the Idaho Press-Tribune purchased and installed a new press. With this change, the Commercial Printing Department was born. With one graphic artist/paginator and the Printing Director, Daniel Paris was given the charge to see it grow and change.

In the beginning it only consisted of one graphic artist/paginator, but in 2004 the department burst forth and another position was made available. With so many new projects, everyone began to see just how great the possibilities were. In 2006 a Computer-to-Plate (CTP) system was purchased to enhance our quality and service.
